How Can Some People Stay Slim Without Even Dieting
Have you ever wondered how some people manage to stay slim, while they are eating whatever they want? Of course, we know they’re eating a lot of fruits and veggies and always prefer a 30-minute jogging in the morning. But what else?
How People Stay Slim
Researchers in New York also wondered this and finally got the bottom of it. They created a survey to discover the secret of people who stay slim without even trying.
Here’s what they found out from 168 mindlessly slim people that filled out this questionnaire with almost 100 questions about their lifestyle habits:
- When it comes to eating, slim people are far less restrictive, but more aware of moderation.
- People who stay slim have fewer preferences for certain foods. They know what works for them and their bodies and stick to it.
- They listen to their body – stop eating when full and exercise when bored.
- Prepare their food at home and eat less out.
- When it comes to workout, they have a daily schedule and stick to it. NO EXCUSES!
This survey showed that when trying to stay slim, attitude towards eating is the most important thing. So don’t put restrictions on your diet and don’t exclude your favourite foods from your diet. Instead, prevent gaining weight by learning to listen to your inner cues and putting emphasis on the quality instead of the quantity of food.
Here’s the conclusion of this survey, which I find a little bit crazy:
In order to stay slim, one should stop eating when is full. One should also feel less guilty after eating too much.
I don’t know about you, but when I don’t eat right, I can’t take my mind of this. Maybe it’s easier for you, but still, when you’re feeding the fat, how can you not feeling guilty?!
What’s even crazier is that 74% of the people who stay slim and rarely diet have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 21.7 which is perfect for their average weight (136lbs/62kg).
